I Almost Forgot

There comes a time in your life where you must clear out the cobwebs and clutter

There was once a clear passage where dreams once lived

A place where you could see beyond the chaos of your world

A place inside of me that I once called passion without pain

 

There comes a time where you realize that many pieces of your life

needed to get organized within my mind, within that place

of hope and clarity

I know that place exists within me

that place where trouble waters no longer exist

I was a blossoming rose that was stifled and frozen in time

I packed my bags leaving many things behind

I could never give you what you deserved

I was depleted and worn out

But I am here ready to begin again, ready to start again

I am ready to believe again

I am ready to take my life in my own hands

to live again

Yes, children of mine, I am living again

I love you beyond any words that I could possibly conjure up

I just wanted you to know that the sun shines after the rain
